cliset -d rebootsystem

Function

The cliset -d rebootsystem command is used to reset the controller x86 system through the CPLD on the BMC serial port.

Format

cliset -d rebootsystem -v parameter1

x86 system reset mode.

The value can be "0" or "1", where:

  • "0": warm reset.
  • "1": hard reset.

Usage Guidelines

  • Running the "cliset -d rebootsystem -v 0" command to reset the x86 system in warm reset mode.
  • Running the "cliset -d rebootsystem -v 1" command to reset the x86 system in hard reset mode.

Example

Run the "cliset -d rebootsystem -v 0" command on the BMC serial port interface of the controller to reset the x86 system in warm reset mode.
