scsi show cawcmd


The scsi show cawcmd command is used to view the execution status of the CAW commands on a specific LUN.


scsi show cawcmd -l lunID







The value ranges from 0 to n minus one. The n indicates the maximum number of LUNs supported by the product.

Usage Guidelines

  • This command must be run on the working controller of the LUN.
  • If some CAW commands are hung, you can run this command to view the execution status of the CAW commands on a specific LUN.


View the execution status of the CAW commands on LUN 0.

Number of commands in the waiting phase.

CAW command[PER_EXEC]

Number of commands in the pre-executing phase.

CAW command[READ]

Number of commands in the read phase.

CAW command[CMP_DATA]

Number of commands in the comparison phase.


Number of commands in the write allocation phase.

CAW command[WRITE]

Number of commands in the write phase.

CAW command[FINISH]

Number of commands in the completion phase.


Number of commands in the abort phase.

CAW command[RE_ALLOC]

Number of commands in the rewrite allocation phase.
