Function

The tftpboot command is used to download binary files using TFTP.

Format

tftpboot [loadAddress] [[hostIPaddr:]bootfilename]

loadAddress

Memory address where an image file is to be loaded.

Enter the value as required.

hostIPaddr

Host IP address where a TFTP service is provided.

Enter the value as required.

bootfilename

Image file to be downloaded and executed. The file must be placed under the directory of the TFTP server.

Enter the value as required.

Usage Guidelines

The environment variables such as "serverip" and "ipaddr" must be set before running the command.

Example

Start a system using TFTP.
