Function

The change upgrade port_failover_switch command is used to enable or disable the failover function for SAN service ports in an upgrade.

Format

change upgrade port_failover_switch switch=?

switch

Whether to enable the failover function for SAN service ports in an upgrade.

The value can be "on" or "off", where:

  • "on": enables the failover function in an upgrade.
  • "off": disables the failover function in an upgrade.

The default switch status of the failover function in an upgrade is "on".

Usage Guidelines

Before performing this operation, determine whether the modification is necessary. If the switch of the failover function is modified during an upgrade, the modification takes effect temporarily and does not persist. After controllers are restarted, the switch is restored to the status before the modification.

Example

Disable the failover function for SAN service ports in an upgrade.
