Function

The show domain user command is used to query information about LDAP/NIS users.

Format

show domain user name=? domain_type=? [ group_name=? ]

Parameters

name

Domain user name.

The value contains 1 to 256 characters.

domain_type

Domain controller type.

Queries domain users of a specified type. The value can be "LDAP" and "NIS", where:

  • "LDAP": queries information about LDAP domain users.
  • "NIS": queries information about NIS domain users.

group_name

Name of a domain user group.

The value contains 1 to 256 characters.

Usage Guidelines

OceanStor 6800 V3/2200 V3/2600 V3/5300 V3/2600 V3 for Video/5500 V3/5600 V3/5800 V3 storage systems support this command.

Example

  • Query information about the domain user of a specified name.
    admin:/>show domain user name=user1 domain_type=LDAP 
    Domain Type : LDAP 
    User Name : user1 
    User ID : 100006 
    Group Name : Administrators(primary) 
    Group ID : 9999 
    Other Groups :10000 10001
  • Query whether the domain user of a specified name belongs to the user group of a specified name.
    admin:/>show domain user name=user1 domain_type=LDAP group_name=admin_group
