add disklog


The add disklog command is used to add specified logs of a disk.


add disklog disk_domain_id=? disk_id=? ckg_object_id=? lba=? length=?






Disk domain ID.

To obtain the value, run the "show disk_domain general" command in guest view.


Disk ID.

To obtain the value, run the "pmgr showdisk" command in diagnose in developer view.


Chunk group ID.

To obtain the value, run the "ckgiof luntrans" command in diagnose in developer view.



The value must be greater than the starting address and smaller than the ending address of the chunk group in the disk with the unit of sector.


Log length.

The value must be smaller the size of a chunk in a chunk group with the unit of sector. The size of a chunk is 64 MB.

Usage Guidelines



To add the logs whose length is "8" and LBA is "7077888" from member disk "522" of CKG "70434275999744" (hexadecimal "400F42004000"), run the following command:

developer:/>add disklog disk_domain_id=0 disk_id=522 ckg_object_id=70434275999744 lba=7077888 length=8 
DANGER: You are going to add a bad block tag. Incorrectly adding such a tag may cause data loss or even host service interruption. 
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, 
1. Check that the member disk to which you will add the tag is normal. 
2. Check whether other member disks have bad block tags. Failures of multiple disks may cause data loss or even service interruption. 
3. Check that the bad sector tag you are going to add is correct and confirm that the tag must be added.
