Function

The change sched command is used to change the scheduling policy of a disk or LUN.

Format

change sched device_type=? scheduler=?

Parameters

Parameter

Value

device_type=?

Device type.

The value can be LUN, SAS, SATA, SSD, or NearLine_SAS.

scheduler=?

Scheduling policy.

The value can be noop,deadline or pfe, the details are as follows:

  • noop: first-come firstserved
  • deadline: elevator scheduling
  • pfe: priority-based scheduling
