change snmp version


The change snmp version command is used to set the switch status of SNMPv1, SNMPv2c, and SNMP Unique EngineID.


change snmp version v1v2c_switch=?

change snmp version unique_engineid_switch=?






Sets the protocol switch status.

The value can be "On" or "Off", where:

  • On: The switch is turned on.
  • Off: The switch is turned off.


Sets the Unique EngineID switch status.

The value can be "on" or "off", where:

  • on: The switch is turned on.
  • off: The switch is turned off.

Usage Guidelines

  • By default, SNMPv1, SNMPv2c, and SNMP Unique EngineID are in the "Off" status.
  • The default switch status of the SNMPv3 protocol is "On".
  • You are advised to use the SNMPv3 protocol to ensure data security.
  • To ensure compatibility, the system reserves the support for SNMPv1 and SNMPv2c.
