Function

The change storage_pool repair_dedup_lun command is used to repair a dedup LUN.

type=?

Repair operation.

The value is "repair", "repairConfirm", "repairCancel", or "envClear", where:

  • "repair": to repair the lun.
  • "repairConfirm": to confirm the repair.
  • "repairCancel": to cancel the repair.
  • "envClear": to clear the repair environment.

lun_id=?

LUN ID.

The value ranges from 0 to 65535.

policy=?

Repair policy.

The value is "consistency_repair" or "volume_extent_repair", where:

  • "consistency_repair": indicates consistency repair.
  • "volume_extent_repair":indicates extent repair.

consistency_point=?

Consistency point.

The value is "0", "1", "2", "3", "4", "5", "6", "7", "8" or "9", where:

  • "0": indicates consistency point 0.
  • "1": indicates consistency point 1.
  • "2": indicates consistency point 2.
  • "3": indicates consistency point 3.
  • "4": indicates consistency point 4.
  • "5": indicates consistency point 5.
  • "6": indicates consistency point 6.
  • "7": indicates consistency point 7.
  • "8": indicates consistency point 8.
  • "9": indicates consistency point 9.

backfs_id=?

Backup file system ID.

The value ranges from 0 to 65535.

force=?

Forcible repair.

The value is "no" or "yes", where:

  • "no": indicates that forcible repair will not be performed.
  • "yes": indicates forcible repair will be performed.

init_space_info=?

Space initialization.

The value is "alloc_free_space", "merge_free_space", or "used_all_extent", where:

  • "alloc_free_space": alloc space information.
  • "merge_free_space": merge space information.
  • ""used_all_extent": have used all space information.

create_time=?

Indicates the creating time of the LUN.

The value is in the format of "year-month-day/hour:minute:second", where:

  • "year": The year ranges from 1970 to 2035.
  • "month": The month ranges from 01 to 12.
  • "day": The day ranges from 01 to 31.
  • "hour": The hour ranges from 00 to 23.
  • "minute": The minute ranges from 00 to 59.
  • "second": The second ranges from 00 to 59.

controller=?

Indicates the owning controller of the LUN.

NOTE:

When the value of "type" is "envClear", this parameter is not displayed.

The value is in the format of XA or XB or XC or XD.X can be 0 to 3.

repair_data_extent_type=?

Indicates the selection of the method used to repair metadata on the Volume Extent layer.

NOTE:

When policy=volume_extent_repair, this parameter is displayed.

The value is "scan_extent_tree", "scan_extent_tree_nmgr", or "scan_meta_ckg", where:

  • "scan_extent_tree": the repair based on scanning the Extent tree.
  • "scan_extent_tree_nmgr": the repair based on the NMGR of the Extent tree.
  • "scan_meta_ckg": the repair based on scanning the Meta CKG.

repair_meta_extent_type=?

Indicates the selection of the method used to repair metadata on the Volume Extent layer.

NOTE:

When policy=volume_extent_repair, this parameter is displayed.

The value is "scan_extent_tree", "scan_extent_tree_nmgr", or "scan_meta_ckg", where:

  • "scan_extent_tree": the repair based on scanning the Extent tree.
  • "scan_extent_tree_nmgr": the repair based on the NMGR of the Extent tree.
  • "scan_meta_ckg": the repair based on scanning the Meta CKG.

Usage Guidelines

OceanStor 6800 V3/2600 V3/2200 V3 (8 GB memory per controller)/5300 V3/2200 V3 (16 GB memory per controller)/5500 V3/5600 V3/5800 V3 storage systems support this command.

Example

  • To repair the LUN whose ID is "0", repair type is repair, repair policy is consistency_repair, and consistency point is "0", run the following command.
    developer:/>change storage_pool repair_dedup_lun type=repair lun_id=0 policy=consistency_repair consistency_point=0 controller=0A  
    Danger: You are about to repair LUN. When performing this operation, note the following: 
    1. During repairing the LUN, do not perform other operations on the storage system or the LUN. 
    2. Repairing the LUN may cause data loss and disk space leak. Excercise caustion when repairing the LUN. 
    3. After successfully executing the change LUN repair, you must run the command of confirming the repair.  
    4. Cancel the repair when the command cannot be successfully executed or when faults occur on the controllers. 
    Suggestion: Confirm that you want to repair the LUN before running the command 
    Have you read danger alert message carefully?(y/n)y 
    Are you sure you really want to perform the operation?(y/n)y 
    Command executed successfully.

  • To repair the LUN whose ID is "0", repair type is repair, repair policy is volume_extent_repair, create time is 2016-02-14/12:00:00, and forcible repair tag is "yes", run the following command.
