Based on the CLI, this document describes how to use various commands classified by functions and how to set the CLI and manage the storage system through these commands. Function

The change service ndmp_config command is used to modify the NDMP configuration.

change service ndmp_config { is_enabled=? | port=? | ip=? | restore_quota=? | support_snapshot=? | ignore_ctime=? | pim_buffer=? | prefetch_enable=? | readdir_plus_enable=? | data_connect_mode=? | fs_global_scope=? | ads_enable=? | backup_thread_num=? } *

is_enabled=?

Whether to enable the NDMP service.

The value can be yes or no, where:

  • yes: enables the NDMP service.
  • no: disables NDMP service.

port=?

Port number.

The value must be an integer from 10000 to 10099.

ip=?

Listening IP address.

restore_quota=?

Quota restored to the file system.

The value must be an integer from 0 to 100.

support_snapshot=?

Whether to support snapshots. This parameter is valid in developer mode only. For details about how to log in to the developer mode, see the Advanced O&M Command Reference.

The value can be yes or no, where:

  • yes: snapshots supported.
  • no: snapshots not supported.

ignore_ctime=?

Whether to ignore ctime during backup.

The value can be yes or no, where:

  • yes: ctime ignored.
  • no: ctime not ignored.

pim_buffer=?

PIM buffer size. This parameter is valid in developer mode only. For details about how to log in to the developer mode, see the Advanced O&M Command Reference.

The value must be an integer from 0 to 500.

prefetch_enable

Whether to enable the prefetch function. This parameter is valid in the developer mode only. For details about how to log in to the developer mode, see the Advanced O&M Command Reference.

The value can be yes or no, where:

  • yes: enables the prefetch function.
  • no: disables the prefetch function.

readdir_plus_enable

Whether to enable the readdirPlus function. This parameter is valid in the developer mode only. For details about how to log in to the developer mode, see the Advanced O&M Command Reference.

The value can be yes or no, where:

  • yes: enables the readdirPlus function.
  • no: disables the readdirPlus function.

data_connect_mode

Data connection is in LIF port mode.

The value can be the following three values:

  • 1: IP addresses within the vStore are preferred.
  • 2: Management IP addresses are preferred.
  • 3: Only IP addresses within the vStore are used.

fs_global_scope=?

Switch for enabling the vStore file system to be globally available.

The value should be the following values:

  • 1: Enabled.
  • 0: Disabled.

ads_enable

Whether to enable the ads function. This parameter is valid in the developer mode only. For details about how to log in to the developer mode, see the Advanced O&M Command Reference.

The value can be yes or no, where:

  • yes: enables the ads function.
  • no: disables the ads function.

backup_thread_num=?

Number of concurrent threads of a single backup task.This parameter is valid in developer mode only. For details about how to log in to the developer mode, see the Advanced O&M Command Reference.

The value must be an integer from 1 to 10.
