Function

The remove hyper_metro_consistency_group member command is used to forcibly remove a pair from a HyperMetro consistency group.

Export the CCDB and check the "local_pair_id" of the HyperMetro pair to be removed.

Usage Guidelines

  • Do not use this command without R&D engineers' guidance. This command can be used to remove a HyperMetro pair from a HyperMetro consistency group only when the HyperMetro pair is faulty and cannot be removed from the consistency group in the user view. Do not use this command in other scenarios.
  • This command must be simultaneously executed at both sides.
  • OceanStor 2100 V3/6800 V3/2600 V3/5300 V3/5500 V3/5600 V3/5800 V3 storage systems support this command.

Example

Forcibly remove HyperMetro pair "0" from a HyperMetro consistency group.

DANGER: You are about to forcibly maintain configurations of the HyperMetro consistency group. This operation forcibly removes the pair from the HyperMetro consistency group.  
When a pair cannot be removed from a HyperMetro consistency group normally, you can perform this operation to forcibly remove the pair from the HyperMetro consistency group.  
Suggestion: Before performing this operation, contact R&D engineers and complete all operations under their guidance. In the mean time, ensure that:  
1. No other users are performing configuration operations.  
2. Host I/Os to the member LUNs of the HyperMetro consistency group have been stopped.  
3. The entered parameters are correct.
