volume showctrl


The volume showctrl command is used to view the volume status, such as volume types and storage pools which volumes belong to.


volume showctrl volumeid






Volume ID.

The value ranges from 0 to n

minus one. n indicates the

maximum number of LUNs.

Volume Id

Volume ID.

Volume Size

Volume size, expressed in sectors.

Init Volume Size

Initial volume size, expressed in sectors.

Snap Point Time

Snap point in time. The snap is valid only

when the volume is a data volume.

Disk Pool Id

ID of the disk pool where a LUN belongs to.

User Pool Id

ID of the user pool where a LUN belongs to.


LUN ID that the data volume corresponds to.


Size of a virtual block used by thin or fat

LUNs, expressed in sectors. The size is
