Function

The swap dr_star_member remote_replication command is used to switch over a remote replication member of a DR Star trio.

Format

swap dr_star_member remote_replication dr_star_id=? remote_replication_id=? member_type=? expected_status=?

dr_star_id

ID of a DR Star trio.

To obtain the value, run "show dr_star general".

expected_status

Expected status for a remote replication member to switch.

The value can be "standby" or "normal".

member_type

Member type of a DR Star trio.

The value can be "pair" or "consistency_group".

remote_replication_id

ID of a remote replication member that you want to switch over.

To obtain the value, run "show remote_replication general".

Usage Guidelines

  • Run this command under the guidance of R&D engineers. This command is only used in abnormal scenarios where two members in a DR Star trio are both in the standby or active state.
  • This operation will change the status of the asynchronous remote replication member of a DR Star trio from the standby state to the active state or from the active state to the standby state.

Example

Switch over remote replication member "200bc71faab10000" of DR Star trio "200bc79b99520000".
