Setting the Device Name and Location
This section describes how to set device name and physical location of the device.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Settings >
Basic Information > Device Information.
- Set Device Name and Device Location.
- Device name must contain 1 to 127 characters and only letters, digits, periods (.), underscores (_), and hyphens (-). It cannot be blank.
- Device location must contain 1 to 511 characters and cannot be blank.
- Confirm the configuration of basic information about storage devices.
- Click Save.
The Execution Result dialog box is displayed indicating that the operation succeeded.
- Click Close.
- Click Save.
