Importing a License File
Before configuring the basic or value-added features, ensure that the license files in use grant the permissions to basic or value-added functions.
Context
- After being imported to the storage system, the license file is in inactive state. You can activate it or not based on service requirements.
- The file name extension of license files is *.dat.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Settings >
License Management.
- For V300R006C10, select Inactive License. For V300R006C20 and later versions, select Import and Activate.
- Import a license file.
- Click Select.
- Select the license file that you want to import and click Open.
Different web browsers may have differences on dialog box display, operate according to the actual display.
- Click Upload.
