Power Cables

Power Cables

Power cables are classified into AC power cables and PDU power cables. Power cables supply power to devices in a cabinet. One end of a power cable is connected to the power socket of the storage system, and the other end to an external power supply.

AC Power Cable

Each AC power module is equipped with one AC power cable. Power cables supply power to devices in a cabinet. One end of a power cable is connected to the power socket of a device, and the other end to an external power supply. Figure 4-46 shows the appearance of an AC power cable.

PDU Power Cable

If a cabinet is equipped with power distribution units (PDUs), use PDU power cables to supply power to devices in the cabinet. Figure 4-47 shows the appearance of a PDU power cable.
