Synchronizing a Mirror Copy

After a mirror LUN is created, you can synchronize all data on the mirror LUN to a mirror copy.

  • If there is only one mirror copy in the system, data cannot be synchronized to the mirror copy.
  • Health Status of the mirror LUN and its mirror copies must be Normal.
  • Running Status of the mirror copy to which data is to be synchronized must be Split.

  1. Log in to DeviceManager.
  2. Go to the user interface of HyperMirror in vStore.

The operation path varies with user types:

    • System user: Click vStore, select the desired vStore, and click Details to go to the vStore view. Choose Data Protection > HyperMirror.
    • vStore user: In the vStore view, choose Data Protection > HyperMirror.

  3. In the left information pane, select the HyperMirror for which you want to implement synchronization.
  4. Synchronize a mirror copy.
