After HyperVault remote backup is complete, data in the backup file system can be accessed through CIFS sharing, but the data is not the latest. In addition, after HyperVault remote restoration is complete, data in the source file system can be accessed through CIFS sharing, but the data is not the latest. How can I solve this problem?

Answer

Modify the Windows registry. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Lanmanworkstation\Parameters\DirectoryCacheLifetime and set DirectoryCacheLifetime to zero. Then refresh the directory that you access to restore the directory cache to the original value.
