Deleting a SmartPartition
This operation enables you to delete a SmartPartition task.
Prerequisites
Before deleting a SmartPartition, make sure that no LUN or file system belongs to this SmartPartition. Otherwise, the deletion will fail.
Context
In terms of deleting a SmartPartition, pay attention to the following:
- The partition deletion immediately takes effect.
- The resource of a deleted partition is released to the default system partition.
Procedure
- Log in to DeviceManager.
- Choose
Provisioning >
Resource Performance Tuning >
SmartPartition.
- Select the SmartPartition you want to delete.
- Click Delete.
A message is displayed, indicating that the operation succeeded.
- Click OK.
