Profile Mode
The profile mode refers to a mode in which the SecoClient user obtains an .ini profile from other personnel (such as the network administrator) and imports the profile to the SecoClient to establish a VPN tunnel. Using the profile to create a VPN connection reduces your configuration workload.
Exporting a Profile
- Select an existing VPN connection and click
to the right of the connection.
- In New Connection, click Export on the left of the navigation tree and select a profile saving location.
By default, the profile is saved to an .ini file.
- Click Save to export the profile.
Importing a Profile
- Select New Connection from the Connect drop-down list on the SecoClient main page.
- In New Connection, click Import on the left of the navigation tree.
- Click Import on the right, select the prepared profile, and click Open.
- Click OK to return to the SecoClient main page.
The L2TP over IPSec VPN connection has been established. In this case, click Connect.
- On the login page, enter the user name and password.
- Click Login to initiate a VPN connection.
When the VPN access succeeds, a prompt is displayed at the lower right corner of the screen.
Using the connection, the mobile user can access intranet resources as users in the enterprise intranet.
