Possible Causes

Switch zones are not correctly assigned, or some links are not used.


  1. After switch zones are assigned, check whether the number of available links is smaller than the system limit.

    1. If no, assign switch zones correctly. If the alarm persists=> Step2.
    2. If yes=> Step2.

  2. Check whether some links in the system are not used.

    1. If yes, remove cables of the unused links connected to the local storage array. If the alarm persists on the remote array, remove cables of the unused links connected to the remote storage array. If the alarm persists=> Step3.
    2. If no=> Step3.

  3. Collect all related information and contact technical support engineers.
