The system failed to monitor a switch.

Possible Causes

  • The switch is faulty.
  • The switch is powered off.
  • Cables are disconnected.


  1. Check whether the power supply of the switch is abnormal.

    1. If yes, stabilize the external power supply. If the alarm persists=> Step2.
    2. If no=> Step2.

  2. Check whether the switch is faulty.

    1. If the switch running indicator is off or fault indicator is on, replace the switch. If the alarm persists=> Step3.
    2. If no=> Step3.

  3. Check the cable connection to the management network port.

    1. If the cable to the management network port is removed, reinsert the cable. If the alarm persists=> 3.2.
    2. If the cable to the management network port is damaged, replace the cable. If the alarm persists=> Step4.

  4. Check whether the network connection is abnormal.

    1. If yes, restore the network connection according to the installation guide. If the alarm persists=> Step5.
    2. If no=> Step5.

  5. Collect all related information and contact technical support engineers.
