Impact on the System

Possible Causes

  • Links are unstable.
  • The storage pool is faulty or full.
  • The local LUN is faulty.
  • The remote LUN is faulty.
  • The service load is too heavy.
  • The disk domain is faulty.


  1. Check whether cables are connected correctly.

    1. If yes=> Step2.
    2. If no, replace faulty optical fibers or network cables to ensure that all links work correctly. If the alarm Link Between a Host and Storage Array Is Unstable persists=> Step2.

  2. Check whether alarms are generated on local and remote LUNs and the storage pools that house the local and remote LUNs.

    1. If yes, handle the alarms by taking recommended actions. If the alarm Link Between a Host and Storage Array Is Unstable persists=> Step3.
    2. If no=> Step3.

  3. Check whether an alarm indicating the disk domain fault is generated.

    1. If yes, handle the alarm with recommended actions. If the alarm persists=> Step4.
    2. If no=> Step4.

  4. Collect all related information and contact technical support engineers.
