Procedure

  1. Run the display transceiver slot slot-id verbose command in the system view to check whether the transmit power Tx Power of the optical module is within the allowed range.

    • If the transmit power is in the allowed range, services are not affected. Collect alarms, logs, and configurations and contact technical support personnel.
    • If the transmit power is out of the allowed range, replace the optical module. Connect an attenuator to the optical module. If the receive power is in the allowed range and services are not affected, the optical module can be used. This alarm alerts you to check the transmit power of optical modules.
