Possible Causes

Procedure

  1. Run the display rrpp verbose domain domain-id command to check whether the status of each interface is unknown.

  2. Run the display rrpp verbose domain domain-id command to check whether the status of each interface is Down.

    • If so, go to Step 5.

    • If not, go to Step 9.

  3. Check whether the interface board corresponding to the port is pulled out.

    • If so, go to Step 7.

    • If not, go to Step 2.

  4. Run the display this command on the interface to check whether the interface is shut down.

    • If so, go to Step 5.

    • If not, go to Step 6.

  5. Run the undo shutdown command in the interface view to check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If so, go to Step 10.

    • If not, go to Step 6.

  6. Check whether devices or links between devices are faulty.

    • If so, go to Step 8.

    • If not, go to Step 9.

  7. Insert the board correctly and then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If so, go to Step 10.

    • If not, go to Step 2.

  8. Repair devices or links between devices and then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If so, go to Step 10.

    • If not, go to Step 9.

  9. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
  10. End.
