Impact on the System

When the number of member switches in a stack reaches the maximum value, new member switches cannot join the stack and restart repeatedly.

Possible Causes

The number of member switches in a stack has reached the maximum value, and so new member switches cannot join the stack.


  • Remove the stack cables of new member switches to prevent them from joining the stack.
