Checking the Configurations

After configuring OSPF IP FRR, you can view route information.

Prerequisites

All OSPF IP FRR configurations have been configured.

Procedure

  • Run the display ospf [ process-id ] routing command to check information about the primary and backup links after OSPF IP FRR is enabled.

    View the routes to the specified OSPF device.

    The preceding display shows that a backup route is generated on switch, including information about the backup next hop: Backup NextHop is address of the backup next hop, Backup Interface is outbound interface of the backup next hop, Backup Type is type of the backup next hop.
