Configuring BFD Globally


On the two devices that need to establish a BFD session, configure BFD for all the interfaces in a certain OSPFv3 process.


  1. Run:


    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run:

    ospfv3 process-id

    The OSPFv3 view is displayed.

  3. Run:

    bfd all-interfaces enable

    BFD for OSPFv3 is enabled to establish a BFD session.

    By default, BFD is disabled in an OSPFv3 process.
