Configuring MSDP Anycast RP

Context

Anycast RP allows multiple RPs in a PIM-SM domain to have the same address and set up MSDP peers. In this way, a multicast source can register to the closest RP, and receivers can join the closest RP.

Pre-configuration Tasks

Enable Protocol Independent Multicast Sparse Mode (PIM-SM) on all switches in the PIM-SM domain, without configuring RP.
