Procedure
- Run the display rrpp brief command on all RRPP ring devices to check whether each device has RRPP enabled.
- If RRPP is enabled on each device, go to Step 2.
- If RRPP is not enabled on all devices, run the rrpp enable and ring enable commands to enable RRPP. If the fault persists, go to Step 2.
- Check whether the traffic from the primary port can reach the secondary port.
- If the traffic is reachable, go to Step 4.
- If the traffic is unreachable, go to Step 3.
- Check whether the physical link fails.
- If the link is working properly, go to Step 4.
- If the link does not work properly, locate and rectify the fault. If the RRPP ring fault persists, go to Step 4.
- Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
