Description
An RRPP ring failed.

Reason
Log generation reason:
fail-timer expired: The Fail timer expired.
Possible Causes
The Fail timer expired, triggering an RRPP ring failure.
Procedure
Run the display rrpp brief command on all RRPP ring devices to check whether each device has RRPP enabled.
If RRPP is enabled on each device, go to Step 2.
If RRPP is not enabled on all devices, run the rrpp enable and ring enable commands to enable RRPP. If the fault persists, go to Step 2.
Check whether the traffic from the primary port can reach the secondary port.
If the traffic is reachable, go to Step 4.
If the traffic is unreachable, go to Step 3.
Check whether the physical link fails.
If the link is working properly, go to Step 4.
If the link does not work properly, locate and rectify the fault. If the RRPP ring fault persists, go to Step 4.
Collect log information and configuration
information, and then contact technical support personnel.
