Possible Causes
The rate of packets sent to the CPU exceeded the user-level rate limit and the excessive packets were discarded.
Procedure
- If a large number of normal service packets are sent to the CPU, run the cpu-defend host-car [ mac-address mac-address | car-id car-id ] pps pps-value command to adjust the rate limit. Otherwise, some packets will be discarded, affecting normal services. Adjusting the rate limit may affect CPU usage. You are advised to contact technical support personnel.
- If a large number of packets from abnormal services are sent to the CPU, locate the cause based on other log information.
