Name Meaning
OID Indicates the ID of a MIB object.
Interface Indicates the attack source interface.
Protocol Indicates the protocol type of attack packets.

Service performance degrades and CPU usage may raise.

Possible Causes

When the device detected attack packets on an interface, the device started attack defense on the interface.


  1. Check whether the attack actually occurred on the interface.
  2. If an attack actually occurred, locate the attack source. If no attack occurred, reconfigure the port attack defense function to ensure that valid protocol packets can be sent to the CPU.
