Parameters

Impact on the System

The HG channel cannot forward packets normally. During inter-card traffic forwarding, packets are lost or cannot be forwarded.

Possible Causes

  • The local or remote card is not securely installed.
  • The local or remote card connector is faulty.
  • The local or remote card is faulty.

Procedure

  1. Run the display device command to check whether the cards have registered normally. If the local and remote cards have registered normally, the cards have been securely installed. Otherwise, remove and reinstall the cards and then check whether this alarm persists.
  2. Remove the local and remote cards and then check whether there are bent pins. If pins of one card are bent or damaged, this card is damaged.
  3. Replace the card.
