Possible Causes

Failed to upgrade software.


  1. Check whether the target system software package exists on the device.

    • If the system software package does not exist, download a system software package from the server.
    • If the system software package exists, go to Step 2.

  2. Check whether the length of the system software package name is valid.

    • Check whether the length of the package name with the full path name exceeds 48 English characters. If the length exceeds 48 English characters, run the rename command to rename the package.

    • If the length is valid, go to Step 3.

  3. Check whether the system software package is in the root directory.

    • If the system software package is not in the root directory, run the copy command to copy the package to the root directory.

    • If the system software package is in the root directory, go to Step 4.

  4. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
  5. End.
