Possible Causes

During configuration recovery, the system detected that the number of sub-interfaces on the switch exceeded the maximum value.


  1. Run the undo interface interface-type interface-number command to delete unused sub-interfaces and check whether the alarm is cleared.
    1. If the alarm is cleared, no further action is required.
    2. If the alarm is not cleared, go to step 2.
  2. Collect alarm, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
