Parameters

Name Meaning
[oid] Indicates the ID of the MIB object.
Index Indicates the index of the entity. The entity in the alarm message is a board.
BaseThresholdPhyIndex Indicates the index of the entity. The entity in an alarm on temperature can be a board, fan, or power module.
ThresholdType Indicates the type of the threshold that triggers the alarm. The threshold types are classified into the following:

1) temperatureSensor: temperature sensor

2) humiditySensor: humidity sensor

3) voltageSensor: voltage sensor

4) currentSensor: current sensor

5) powerSensor: power sensor

6) portTraffic: traffic of the port

EventType Indicates the alarm type. Alarms are classified into the following types:

This alarm is an alarm of the environmentalAlarm type.

PhysicalName Indicates the physical name of the entity.

ThresholdHighCritical Indicates the temperature threshold that triggers a critical alarm. Currently, the value of this parameter is the same as the value of ThresholdHighWarning.

Possible Causes

An alarm is generated when the temperature of the entity exceeds the upper threshold of the sensor. In this case, you can take cooling measures to make the temperature lower than the upper threshold allowed by the sensor.
