Parameters

Name Meaning
[oid] Indicates the ID of the MIB object.
Index Indicates the index of the entity, such as a board, a power module, a fan, or a subcard.
Severity Indicates the severity level of the alarm.
ProbableCause Indicates the possible causes of the alarm. The codes of the possible causes are as follows:

1) 1024: IANAITUPROBABLECAUSE_OTHER indicates that the causes are unknown.

2) 153: IANAITUPROBABLECAUSE_CORRUPTDATA indicates that data is damaged.

EventType Indicates the alarm type. Alarms are classified into the following types:
  • communicationsAlarm (2): alarm for communication problems
  • qualityOfServiceAlarm (3): alarm for service quality
  • processingErrorAlarm (4): alarm for processing errors
  • equipmentAlarm (5): alarm for the equipment
