Possible Causes
Cause 1:
LPUs fail to register.
Cause 2:
The new system software cannot start and the system rolls back to the previous version.
Procedure
- After this alarm is displayed, by default, the system automatically
rolls back to the previous system version. Run the display device command to check whether LPUs can register successfully.
- If so, go to step 2.
- If an LPU fails to register, the LPU hardware is faulty. Replace this LPU.
- Check whether the current version supports these LPUs.
- If so, go to step 3.
- If not, go to step 4.
- Run the reboot fast command to upgrade the CSS after a fast restart.
- Remove or replace the unsupported LPUs and then upgrade the CSS.
