Name Meaning
[oid] Indicates the ID of the MIB object.
Index Indicates the index of the entity. The entity in the alarm message is a board.
Severity Indicates the severity level of the alarm.
ProbableCause Indicates the possible causes of the alarm. The codes of the possible causes are as follows:

1024: IANAITUPROBABLECAUSE_OTHER indicates that the causes are unknown.

EventType Indicates the alarm type. Alarms are classified into the following types:
  • communicationsAlarm (2): alarm for communication problems
  • qualityOfServiceAlarm (3): alarm for service quality
  • processingErrorAlarm (4): alarm for processing errors
  • equipmentAlarm (5): alarm for the equipment
  • environmentalAlarm (6): alarm for the environment

ContainedIn Indicates the parent index of the entity. In the alarm message, this parameter indicates the index of the slot where the board is installed.

ReasonDescription Indicates the description of causes of the alarm.
