Checking the Configuration


After configuring Kompella VLL successfully, you can check BGP information, connection, and VPN target list of Kompella VLL and L2VPN information on the PE device.


  • Run the display bgp l2vpn { all | group [ group-name ] | peer [ [ peer-ip-address ] verbose ] | route-distinguisher route-distinguisher [ ce-id ce-id [ label-offset label-offset ] ] } command to check the BGP information of the Kompella VLL.
  • Run the display mpls l2vpn connection [ vpn-name [ remote-ce ce-id | down | up | verbose ] | summary | interface interface-type interface-number ] command to check information about the connection in Kompella mode.
  • Run the display mpls l2vpn [ l2vpn-name [ local-ce | remote-ce ] ] command to check the VLL information on the PE.
  • Run the display mpls l2vpn { export-route-target-list | import-route-target-list } command to check the VPN target list of the Kompella VLL.
