Possible Causes

The interface is connected to a non-standard powered device (PD) or a non-PD device.


  • If the interface is connected to a non-PD device, disconnect the interface from the non-PD device or no action is required.
  • If a non-standard PD device is not powered on, run the poe legacy enable command in the corresponding interface view to enable PD device compatibility detection.
