QOSE/3/CAR_FAIL:Failed to execute ([STRING1]) on interface [STRING2] due to insufficient resources in slot [STRING3].


The qos car inbound command fails to be executed due to insufficient ACL resources on the LPU.


Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
STRING1 Command that fails to be executed, that is, qos car inbound.
STRING2 Eth-Trunk ID.
STRING3 Slot ID of an LPU.

Possible Causes

The qos car inbound command is configured on an Eth-Trunk. When a new member interface joins the Eth-Trunk, the command fails to be executed due to insufficient ACL resources on the LPU.


  1. Run the display current-configuration command to check whether the qos car inbound command is configured on each interface of the LPU in the log.
    • If so, go to step 2.
    • If not, go to step 5.
  2. Check whether the qos car inbound command needs to be configured on the interface.
    • If so, go to step 3.
    • If not, go to step 4.
  3. Run the undo eth-trunk command in the view of the member interface to delete the member interface from the Eth-Trunk and run the eth-trunk command to add the interface to the Eth-Trunk. Check whether qos car inbound is executed successfully.
    • If so, no action is required.
    • If not, go to step 5.
  4. Run the undo qos car inbound command on the interface to delete the configuration.
  5. Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel. You can collect diagnostic information using the display diagnostic-information command.
