MCAST/3/ACL:Failed to Down ACL to LPU. (ACLID=[ULONG] , SlotID=[ULONG], Result=[ULONG])


Delivering the ACL to an interface board fails due to an RPC communication error.


Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
ACLID ACL rule name
SlotID ID of slot where an interface board is inserted
Result Indicates the error code of an ACL delivery failure. The error code 0 means that the ACL has been successfully delivered.

Possible Causes

An error occurs in the communication through the RPC on an interface board.


  1. Run the display device command to check the status of the interface board when the event happens.
  2. If the interface board is restarting, this log is normal and does not need to be processed.
  3. If the interface board is in the running status, check whether the Ecm status of the interface board is normal. If not normal, collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
