Description

The DHCPv6 server information is recorded.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
IP Address IP address of the server.
MAC Address IP address of the server.
Interface Name of the interface that receives the MAC address of the server.

Possible Causes

Messages from the new DHCPv6 server are received.

Procedure

  • If a small number of log messages are displayed, this log message is informational only and no action is required.
  • If a large number of log messages are displayed, you need to search for the unauthorized server according to the interface name, MAC address, and IP address in the logs. Deal with the unauthorized server based on requirements. For example, disconnect it from the network or configure a corresponding attack defense policy.
