MCAST/3/MCAST_MVPN: Failed to add the acl which is used to prevent packets from being sent to CPU for MVPN. (ReturnCode=[ULONG])

The system failed to deliver an ACL used to prevent packets from being sent to the CPU in MVPN application.

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
ReturnCode Indicates an error code.

Possible Causes

The device has a large number of ACL-based services, such as traffic policies. These services have used up all ACL resources, so no more ACL can be delivered.

  1. Run the display acl resource command to check whether the ACL resources have been used up.
  2. Run the display current-configuration command to check whether a large number of traffic policies have been configured on the device.
  3. Delete unnecessary ACL configuration.
  4. Check whether the log is still recorded.
  5. If the log is still recorded, collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel. For details, see Troubleshooting-Information Collection-Collecting Diagnostic Information.
