Failed to add MAC address entries.


Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
Type Indicates the type of the MAC address entry that fails to be added.
MAC Indicates the MAC address that fails to be added.
VLAN/VSI Indicates the VLAN ID or VSI index corresponding to the MAC address entry that fails to be added.
VLANVALID Indicates the VLAN ID or VSI index.
ErrorCode Indicates the error code for a failure to add MAC address entries.

Possible Causes

MAC address entries fail to be delivered because MAC address table resources are insufficient or a MAC address hash conflict occurs.


  1. Delete the command used to deliver MAC address entries and reconfigure the command.
    • If so, go to step 3.
    • If not, go to step 2.
  2. Obtain log and configuration files and contact technical support personnel.
