Solution
Error: Cannot create this interface because the interface number of this type has reached its maximum.
The number of created VLANIF interfaces on the device has reached the limit.
Run the display interface brief command to check the number of VLANIF interfaces, and check whether the number of VLANIF interfaces has reached the limit in Table 4-7.
Run the undo interface vlanif vlan-id command to delete unnecessary VLANIF interfaces, and then create the new VLANIF interface.
Error: The VLAN is used by XXX.
NOTE:XXX indicates a feature, such as CSS, ERPS, RRPP, SEP, Smart Link, GVRP, or VBST.
The VLAN corresponding to the VLANIF interfaces is a dynamic, control, or reserved VLAN.
Run the display vlan summary command to check whether the value of the Dynamic vlan or Reserved vlan field is the VLAN corresponding to the VLANIF interface.
Create a VLANIF interface corresponding to another VLAN.
- If the fault persists, collect alarms and logs and contact technical support personnel.
