Feature Limitations

If a loop occurs on the path detected by BFD, the change of the network topology where the loop exists may cause the BFD session to flap at one time.

When the BFD session is bound to the Eth-Trunk and the detection time is less than 300 ms, you are not advised to add or delete Eth-Trunk member interfaces. Otherwise, the BFD session may flap.

To implement 50-ms switching, the device must support the 3.3-ms interval for sending and receiving BFD packets. The configuration is supported only when the MPU is ET1D2MPUA000.

BFD sessions cannot be bound to a QinQ sub-interface.
