ALM-0x10000093 PS/2 or USB Keyboard Controller Fault (Mainboard, Critical Alarm)
Description
Alarm message:
A PS/2 or USB keyboard controller error is detected during system startup (BN: arg1).
From iBMC V316, the CPU and disk alarms will also include the SN and BOM code and the mainboard and memory alarms will also include the BOM code.
This alarm is generated when the PS/2 or USB device is unavailable or faulty.
Alarm object: mainboard
Procedure
- Check whether an external keyboard is installed.
- Check whether the external keyboard is damaged.
- Replace the external keyboard. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.
If yes, no further action is required.
If no, go to 4.
- Replace the mainboard . Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.
If yes, no further action is required.
If no, go to 5.
- Contact technical support engineer.
