ALM-0x05000001 Drive Backplane Power Failure (Drive Backplane, Major Alarm)
Description
Alarm message:
Power supply to [arg1] drive backplane [arg2] failed (SN: arg3, BN: arg4).
From iBMC V370, this alarm also includes the serial number and BOM code of the drive backplane.
This alarm is generated when the power supply to the drive backplane is abnormal.

Impact on the System
The backplane drive cannot work properly. As a result, related services may run abnormally or data may be lost.
Possible Causes
- The cable between the drive backplane and the mainboard is faulty.
- The drive backplane is faulty.
Procedure
- Completely power off the server by disconnecting the AC power cables, and remove and reconnect the cable of the drive backplane. After the server is powered on, check whether the alarm is cleared.
If yes, no further action is required.
If no, go to 2.
- Completely power off the server, and replace the cable of the drive backplane. After the server is powered on, check whether the alarm is cleared.
If yes, no further action is required.
If no, go to 3.
- Completely power off the server, and replace the drive backplane. After the server is powered on, check whether the alarm is cleared.
If yes, no further action is required.
If no, go to 4.
- Contact technical support engineer.
